Eric Thomas, Ph.D. is a world renowned speaker, author, pastor, and educator. ET, as he is better known, has captured the hearts and minds across the globe with his dynamic communication style and high-energy messages.
With over 20 years of real-life, in-the-trenches community activism experience, Eric is living proof of what tenacity, drive, and focus can produce when applied to properly; especially in the classroom. After taking 12 years to get a 4-year degree, ET went on to earn a Master's degree and Ph.D. in Education Administration from Michigan State University.
Eric's long standing success began with his award-nominated GED program and youth-focused nonprofit, "Break The Cycle, I Dare You". Building on the success of these initiatives, Eric developed Michigan State University's Advantage program, which helps improve the study habits and retention rates of high-risk college students.
Most recently, he created the School Days Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to finding solutions to close the achievement gap in inner-city schools through goal framing.
